Travelling in a country where most people don’t speak English is always “interesting” for those of us who are vegetarians and vegans. If you haven’t mastered the language you never quite know what you’re going to get.

My good friend and long-time vegetarian Timmy Boyle went a step further and actually lived in Japan for a year and a half.
