A little update on making your own shoulder totes
A little while back I started making shoulder totes to replace our rapidly disintegrating green bags. Remember the how-to guide? Well, it seems I’ve gone a little crazy on the idea. I’ve now made eight totes including the two I sent over to our eldest sister, Candice, for her birthday. And I’ve learnt a thing or two that may come in handy if you’re making your own.

Nothing like a rainy Brisbane day to inspire a spot of Saturday crafternooning. I was all creatively motivated after stumbling across the delightful Meet Me At Mikes blog.
In a happy coincidence, we needed some new reusable shopping bags because ours were getting pretty shabby. I was keen to avoid buying any more “green” polypropylene bags because it turns out they’re not so green.
